Day 1: Arrival in Masai Mara
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, or your hotel within the city. After a brief introduction, you will embark on a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to spot wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, and antelopes.
Upon arrival at your lodge, you will check-in and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, we will take you on your first game drive in the park, where you will have a chance to see the big five – lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalos – and other animals such as cheetahs, hyenas, and wildebeests. As the sun sets, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
After a hearty breakfast, we will embark on a full day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have a chance to explore the vast savannah grasslands, riverine forests, and acacia woodlands of the park while spotting different species of wildlife. During the Great Wildebeest Migration season, between July and October, you will witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River in search of greener pastures.
We will have a picnic lunch in the park, and then continue with the game drive until sunset. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Departure
On your last day, we will wake up early for a morning game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. This is the perfect time to see predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs hunting their prey, as well as other animals such as hyenas and jackals. After the game drive, we will return to the lodge for breakfast and checkout.
We will then drive back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Masai Mara wildlife safari.
