Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by an Elegant Africa Travels™ representative and driven to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The journey takes about 5-6 hours with stops along the way for photo opportunities and refreshments. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by an afternoon game drive in the reserve, which is famous for its big cats and the annual wildebeest migration.
Day 2: Full day game drive in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Today you will have a full day game drive in Maasai Mara Game Reserve, with picnic lunch boxes provided. You will have the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many species of birds. If you’re lucky, you may even witness a predator kill or the wildebeest migration.
Day 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Maasai Mara Game Reserve and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is about 4-5 hours away. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru is known for its flamingos, rhinos, and other wildlife, and is a birdwatcher’s paradise.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Lake Nakuru National Park and drive to Amboseli National Park, which is about 6-7 hours away. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 5: Full day game drive in Amboseli National Park
Today you will have a full day game drive in Amboseli National Park, with picnic lunch boxes provided. You will have the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and of course, the elephants that Amboseli is known for.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will depart Amboseli National Park and drive back to Nairobi, which is about 4-5 hours away. You will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport in time for your onward flight.
