Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by a representative from Elegant Africa Travels™ and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Arusha National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Arusha National Park for a full day of game drives. This park is a hidden gem and one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and topographically varied wildlife reserves. Expect to see giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and many species of antelopes, as well as the possibility of spotting a leopard or hyena. You will return to your hotel in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its large herds of elephants and its stunning baobab trees. You will also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, and a variety of antelopes. In the late afternoon, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. You will also see elephants, giraffes, hippos, and other animals. In the late afternoon, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous parks in Africa. You will spend the whole day game driving through the park, looking for the “Big Five” – lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. You will also see many other species of animals and birds. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will descend into the crater and spend the whole day game driving in search of wildlife, including lions, elephants, hippos, zebras, and wildebeest. You will also have a chance to see the rare black rhino. In the late afternoon, you will ascend the crater and return to Arusha for your onward journey.
