Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to explore the city or relax at the hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
After breakfast, you will depart Kampala and drive to Kibale National Park. Along the way, you will pass through scenic countryside and traditional Ugandan villages. In the afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge near the park and have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking.
Today you will trek to see chimpanzees in their natural habitat. The trekking will take about 3-4 hours and you will have the opportunity to see other primates like black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys. In the afternoon, you can choose to go for a nature walk or relax at the lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to see various wildlife like elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge near the park and have the chance to relax or take a guided nature walk.
Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Cruise.
In the morning, you will embark on a game drive through the park to see various wildlife like lions, leopards, hyenas, and more. After the game drive, you will take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you will have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful landscapes and traditional villages. In the afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge near the park and have the opportunity to relax or take a guided nature walk.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking.
Today is the highlight of the safari as you will trek to see gorillas in their natural habitat. The trekking may take between 2-8 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them before trekking back to your lodge.
Day 8: Departure.
After breakfast, you will depart for Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight. Along the way, you will pass through scenic countryside and traditional Ugandan villages. Your driver will drop you off at the airport in time for your departure flight.
